Not sure where to start? Here are a few tips that may help while building your fragrance blend.
Start With 3–4 Fragrances
Although you can select up to 8 fragrances, starting with 3–4 fragrances is often a great way to begin exploring combinations without becoming overwhelmed. Simpler blends can sometimes create the most balanced and wearable fragrances.
For A More Long-Lasting Fragrance
Consider selecting at least one base note fragrance such as Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood, Musk, Cedarwood, or Patchouli. Base notes often help add depth and staying power to a fragrance blend.
For A Brighter, Fresher Fragrance
Fresh, citrus, mint, herbal, and aquatic fragrances (like Orange, Bergamot, Grapefruit, Cucumber, Rain, or Peppermint) can help create lighter, cleaner, more energetic blends.
For A Warm, Cozy Fragrance
Warm notes like Vanilla, Amber, Cinnamon, and soft spice notes often create smooth, comforting fragrances.
Suggested Blends
- Fresh + Woody (e.g. Rain + Cedar)
- Sweet + Warm (e.g. Vanilla + Amber)
- Citrus + Musk (e.g. Bergamot + Musk)
Build Around One Fragrance
If there’s one fragrance you really enjoy, try using it as your foundation and build around it with supporting notes.
